Born in Lebanon, raised in UAE, Suzi Fadel Nassif is a renowned artist who has been astonishing art lovers with her paintings. She was a born artist, and revealed her skills as an artist at a very young age. She followed the field of arts to become one of the well-known artists of today. She knows very well how to perform miniature artwork, playing with colors amazingly, she dazzles the eyes with bright, full of life paintings. Suzi’s work is not confined to a single media. She has the ability to work with many types of media including, acrylic, oil, texture paste and more. With every stroke of her brush, she tells a new and different story.

Following her interests, Suzi studied arts and learned photography and visual arts. She follows the idea of contemporary art. According to her, contemporary art is the art of today; the modern art. Today’s art has no boundaries and can be performed through number of mediums; it could be photography, painting, film making, acting, dancing or anything. Contemporary art is based on an artist’s vision; to the limit an artist can visualize things and stories. It is all about innovation and modern ideas. Today’s art has been modernized my mixing up many different types of arts and creating new one. Suzi, herself, has no limits when it comes to arts. Her work leaves you spellbound by its mind blowing depiction of ground-breaking notions and striking amalgamation of eye-catching hues.

Suzi has a strong grip on oil and acrylic artwork. However, according to her, there are some differences between two of the mediums. Oil painting gives the painter the liberty of blending a variety of colors. Oil paints merge easy and work best for portraits to be used for the skin tones. Moreover, oil paints allows one to work in many layers and stages that help to portray one’s idea more detailed and precise. Only drawback is that, oils take time to get dry and test the artist’s patience. On the other hand, acrylic paints dry real quickly, however, it refrains the artist to create fine lines and perform more thorough work. Plus, acrylic paintings end up to be very dark.

Suzi has adopted a bold style and most of her paintings have unique and striking notions. Her ideas are mostly based of woman’s sensations and complicated thoughts or emotions. She has the ability to scream through her painting, delivering each of her emotion to the canvas. Her paintings mostly convey feeling of personal happiness and societal tragedy. Her ideas speak of freedom for women in the society and the way society has always limited the abilities of women. She loves to express her ideas by painting woman’s face with many expressions and body with different postures. She believes that a woman is supposed to play more important role in the society than just to stay at home. As a woman, she speaks of freedom for all women around the world through her amazing pieces of arts.
